Who we are
Granary Holidays provides self catering holiday accommodation and is the data controller and has legal responsibilities concerning how we collect, and use your personal information.
What information do we collect
To process a booking to enable you to stay at our holiday cottages we legally need your name, address, contact phone number, email address and names of each guest staying. If a guest is 16 years or under, we also require their age/s. We collect all this information on our booking form.
Where is the data stored
A booking form returned via email is stored in our hard drive email cache. It will be deleted from the cache after 12 months to enable us to answer any queries you may have about your booking and stay. Emailed booking forms will also be printed off and stored in a folder securely to enable us to process your booking.
Any booking forms returned by post are stored securely in a folder.
We legally have to hold records including your booking form for a minimum of 6 years for tax and accounting purposes. After this time they will be destroyed by shredding.
If you have made an enquiry about our accommodation but do not proceed with a booking, your email enquiry will be deleted after 12 months.
Who do we share your data with
We do not and will not share your data with any third parties.
Data removal
You can request for your data to be deleted from Granary Holidays email account at anytime by contacting us.
