6a Cancellation due to travel restrictions: We will refund 100% of your payment if there are government local or national lockdown restrictions meaning we cannot open or you cannot travel, but we cannot refund if you are unable to travel due to other reasons, including but not limited to illness or self isolating. This is easily covered by you purchasing travel insurance.
7.Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance, which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any good broker or online. It is your responsibility to check that the insurance that you purchase is adequate for your needs.
8.Non-availability of Accommodation, Circumstances beyond the control of the owner (Force Majeure): We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. In this case we would refund all monies paid by you for the holiday. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

We (or our representatives) reserve the right to enter the property at any reasonable time during the period of your holiday and in the case of emergency, maintenance or repair.
10.WiFi: All services are provided on an “as is” basis. We do not warrant that the service is fault free. We will always try to make the service available, but it may be interrupted, limited or curtailed due to maintenance and repair work, transmission or equipment limitations/failures that are out of our control.
11.Tennis Court: The Tennis Court is a grass court, so is available from 1st May to the middle of
September, weather permitting. It is for tennis only and we kindly ask that all children are supervised whilst on the court. There is a separate area for all other ball games. We provide 4 rackets and tennis balls.
12.Water Supply: Our water is from our own well. It goes through a treatment process and is checked

We reserve the right to levy an additional charge for any extra cleaning required after your occupancy. Short break arrival and departure times will be confirmed at time of booking.
16.Damages and Breakages: Please take care with our property. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages that you cause to the accommodation or its contents. NB: Use of the barbeque is entirely at guests’ own risk. No
responsibility will be taken by Granary Holidays for any eventuality resulting from use of the barbeque, including any and all damage to The Granary and/or The Mistal, which must be paid for. We do have a locked garage for storage of bicycles; however these are left at the owner’s risk so guests should consider making their own arrangements for insurance as they are not covered under the property insurance.

21.Septic Tank: Our cottages are not on the mains sewage system. We have a septic tank. It is very important that you DO NOT flush nappies, wipes, cotton wool pads/buds or sanitary items down the toilets. This will very quickly cause blockages and require professional services to unblock the system which is costly.
22.Data: Any data collected during the course of this booking may be kept on computer. It is purely for the purpose of processing your holiday rental and for collation of marketing statistics. It is for use by Granary Holidays and we will not share your details with any third party.
23.Electric Vehicles: Our electric vehicle charge point is available to charge your vehicle by request. It only works off our App and is charged to you at our current KWH rate. The charger is shared between two properties. Under no circumstances are you permitted to charge a vehicle from a 3 pin wall socket and extension cable.
24.When services become unavailable or restricted: Unfortunately, sometimes services or equipment provided in the holiday cottage may become unavailable or restricted. As this is out of our control, we do not accept any responsibility for any changes, unavailability, or restrictions of these things. We will work to fix these as soon as possible but cannot guarantee the same day.
We look forward to welcoming you to The Granary and The Mistal.
